We built the company we wished we could hire.

It started with a quote for balloons.

Aya's first birthday, we got the estimate back, and had to sit down. We paid it anyway. Then we stood in the room afterward thinking, this still isn't what I pictured.

That's the whole reason DecorUp exists. Three sisters: one who coordinates weddings, one who has never met an occasion she wouldn't throw a party for, and one who was simply done overpaying for balloons.

We started in 2017.

It hasn't been a straight line. We built an inventory, then lost our storage unit and everything inside it. But parties kept happening. We kept decorating. And somewhere in there we realized the business still had a heartbeat.

Years later, one of our proposal designs went viral and ended up in People Magazine.

Our inventory is growing again, and the reason we do this hasn't changed. We want your day to look like the picture in your head, without you waking up the next morning realizing you spent the price of a used car on one afternoon.
